Outbound Webhooks: Landing-Page Attribution Tags Restored

Released: July 23, 2026

Category: Bug

Location: Outbound webhooks (call tags from landing page / number replacement)

What was happening

  • Click and campaign attribution from the landing-page snippet (for example GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID, and related UTM fields) could be captured on the visit but not written as system tags on the call.

  • Outbound webhooks that reference those tags could fire without the expected click IDs and attribution values.

What's fixed

  • Trusted landing-page attribution is written again through the system-tag path so those values are available on the call.

  • Outbound webhook placeholders for those tags resolve with the captured values.

  • Customer-controlled URL parameters still cannot overwrite reserved system tags.

Impact

  • New calls after this release should again send landing-page attribution (including GCLID and related click IDs) on outbound webhooks when the snippet collected them.
