π Overview
RTB formulas can be configured to use a predefined phone number instead of relying on a phone number returned by an API response.
This option is useful when an RTB integration does not provide a destination number or when consistent, predictable routing behavior is required.
βοΈ How the Predefined Phone Number Option Works
When enabled, the RTB execution flow skips phone mapping entirely and routes all calls to a fixed phone number defined in the RTB parameters.
Configuration Options
βοΈ Use Predefined Phone Number (skip phone mapping)
Enables fixed-number routing and disables phone mapping requirements.π± Predefined Phone Number

π§ͺ Behavior & Validation Rules
The system enforces clear validation rules based on your configuration:
If Use Predefined Phone Number is unchecked:
Phone number mapping is required
RTB behavior remains unchanged
If Use Predefined Phone Number is checked:
Phone mapping is skipped
Only payout and duration mappings are required
π¦ Consistency: Backend services and RTB execution apply this setting uniformly to ensure reliable call routing.
π― Why This Matters
Some RTB APIs do not return a destination phone number, which can interrupt or block call delivery.
This option ensures calls continue to route successfully by allowing you to define a fixed destination number directly within the RTB configuration.
It is also commonly used for:
Controlled testing and staging
Predictable routing flows
Consistent analytics and reporting
π‘ Example Use Cases
Partner RTB APIs that omit the phone field
Testing or sandbox campaigns using a consistent test number
Campaigns that require a uniform tracking number across all calls
π Getting Started
Navigate to the RTB page
Open the Parameters section
Check Use Predefined Phone Number (skip phone mapping)
Enter the Predefined Phone Number in E.164 format
Save the RTB formula
β No additional mapping changes are required.
